JNIOR Programmable Logic Controller
JNIOR is general purpose single board computing device designed to flexibly interact
with other devices and systems. It can be used to collect data, initiate complex
actions, and to support multiple remote users and systems. Unlike the personal computer
the JNIOR does not utilize a screen, keyboard or mouse. It has been developed to be
integrated/embedded into other systems. One uses, maintains and programs the JNIOR
through the network using a web browser or other application.
You have connected
directly to this product.
There are nearly 90,000 JNIORs located at sites around the world.
The JNIOR is based upon the JANOS operating system. This operating system was entirely
written by the company using no third party or open source code. The purpose being to
absolutely insure that every possible issue is directly resolvable and can be handled quickly.
Accessing the JNIOR with a browser would normally present the WebUI. This is a dynamic
HTML tabbed environment proving I/O control, configuration, command console, file system
drag and drop, and more. The available compiled server-side scripting (modelled after PHP) is
used to customize page presentation as well as command line scripting. The WebUI (dynamic
configuration pages) requires valid login credentials. When overridden by a user's custom
website (as it is here) it would be accessed through the /config folder.
Learn
The WebUI links to the JANOS Help System providing detailed users information for the
product. These pages are minimally formatted for the browser since they are designed
for presentation at the command line. You may freely browse the Help information here.
JNIOR Help
The product can generate its own Users Manual. This is customized to include help
information available for any of the optional applications loaded on the device.
This manual may be saved to a PDF and includes a complete Table of Contents and Index
with functional links throughout. Hard copy is available from the
online store
entitled the
